Do I need a reservation?
We strongly suggest making a reservation in advance to guarantee a seat. Walk-ons are also welcome.
What if it rains?
All cruises sail rain or shine. Only in the event of severe weather conditions, the cruise will be cancelled and a full refund will be processed.
Do I need to wear a life jacket?
Life jackets are stored onboard for emergency use only and are not required to be worn on a USCG certified vessel. A safety orientation will be presented before leaving the dock.
Are there bathrooms on the boat?
There are 2 modern clean bathrooms available on board.
Do I get to keep the lobsters?
Lobsters and all other marine life are released back to the sea. There are many restaurants nearby that serve seafood along with a fish market that can ship your lobsters back home.
Can I bring a stroller on board?
Due to space limitations strollers need to be left on the dock near the ticket booth.
What should I wear?
It is usually cooler on the water than on land. Dressing in layers and wearing comfortable shoes is recommended.
Is the boat handicap accessible?
There are a few steps and a ramp to get onboard. The boat is capable of accommodating a standard, non-motorized, wheelchair 30″ width. Please call in advance if you are coming with a wheelchair so that we can be prepared to assist you on the day of the cruise.
Will I get seasick?
All cruises sail within the protected calm waters of Plymouth Harbor and Plymouth Bay. Experiencing seasickness is quite rare on our cruises.

What is your cancellation policy?
For all reservations, online ticket sales and gift certificates. Once a reservation or purchase of a gift certificate is made and processed, it is NON-refundable and NON-transferable (to a different date or time). All sales are final. All cruises sail rain or shine. Please keep in mind that you are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to the cruise departure time. If you do not arrive 30 minutes prior to the cruise and you miss the boat, your tickets can not be refunded and can not be transferred to another date and time.
Plymouth Cruises has the right to cancel any cruise, at any time, due to unforeseen conditions. If Plymouth Cruises cancels the cruise, for any reason, a full refund will be processed.
Plymouth Cruises does not sell, rent or lease customer’s information to third parties.
Are there any restrictions that I should know about in advance?
- Alcohol: No alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought on board any of our cruises, due to Massachusetts State Laws and Licensing Regulations.
- Smoking/Vaping: No smoking or vaping of any substance is allowed on board. The boat is USCG certified and documented under Federal Law as a drug-free vessel.
